Like many folks out here, I have suffered from acne since my early teens. I am now 26 and still had continuous break outs, with new pimples forming day after day. This product truly has been a miracle for my 19 year old son. The acne on his back was so severe the dermatologist was pushing Accutane. I have had acne ever since I hit puberty when I was in 6th grade and I am now 23. The only thing that would help me was being in the sun A LOT without make-up or tanning in a tanning bed without make-up. I was so frustrated that the only thing that was helping my acne could later give me skin cancer. I needed an acne treatment that was natural and worked without harming me. I have tried everything from Pro-Active, to prescription pills and creams, to blue light therapy and the list goes on. Look these pills cost only 19 bucks delivered to your home. What can you buy for $19 a large pizza !? Just for $19 I got my acne gone. Thank God and thanks to those people who created these medication. I've spent hundreds on other medications, but nothing worked. All that cr*p like Proactive they just suck your money. What works for one may not work for you, but I am sure that these are worth giving a try. My point is , it is the only thing that worked for me and many others, it may work for you as well, just be patient , give it some time. And it is not a placebo as some reviews stated. I have used Loma Lux Acne Pills for a few years now and have always had great results. There are absolutely no side effects and the pills are perfectly safe to take with other medication, unlike prescribed oral acne medication. Although these pills are amazing, they are not perfect and definitely do not work by themselves... you must take good care of your skin as well. If I slip up and happen to not wash my face well one night, I still might get a small blemish. If I were to completely slack off at washing my face, then these pills would not help so much. It is also helpful to take the pills with at least an 8 oz glass of water. I also use Proactiv, but I think any good, consistent acne treatment plan that works for you should work great along with the Acne Pill. I buy these pills regularly every few months and will always buy them... until I can go at least 1/2 a year without a single blemish... so I could be taking these forever, but that's okay... these pills aren't bad for you. I developed hand eczema in my late 30’s and suffered with it for four years. My flare-ups would range from mild to sever – almost debilitating. I tried just about every treatment available, prescription, non-prescription, home remedy, you name it. Some would work for a while, like hydrocortisone creams and Protopic, but eventually I would build up a tolerance and they were ineffective. When I first tried Loma Lux I was skeptical, but desperate, within a week I noticed my eczema clearing up, but I didn’t get too excited since my eczema is cyclical. Then I ran out of the one bottle I had purchased and sure enough within a week or so, my eczema came back. At that point I purchased more, and have pretty much been using this product steady for the past year and one-half. While on Loma Lux, my eczema ranges from non-existent to mild and never real itchy. Also, I do moisturize my hands throughout the day with a heavy cream. When I do get a flare-up my eczema is very responsive to medications; I just dig out an old tube of Protopic or hydrocortisone and usually within a day or two the flare-up is either gone or under control. Loma Lux has not cured me of eczema, but it keeps it under control and boosts the efficacy of other treatments/medications. Currently I take about half of the recommended dose, but will increase the dose when needed (which is rare). Overall I am very satisfied with this product; if you are desperate, like I was, I would recommend giving it a shot.

It Works!
I bought this product for my 18 year old son after my husband had success with the Loma Lux for eczema. My son took it for 2 months and although his acne has not totally disappeared, the results were pretty dramatic. I felt good about the fact that this is totally safe and natural with no side effects like you might have with the prescription acne medication. I can’t say for sure that it will work for everyone but if you have a teenager with an acne problem you should give a try. Be aware though that it doesn’t work overnight, we began to see results in my son’s compexion about 3 weeks after he began using it. You have to be patient and you have to remember to take it every day.
